Love your (pink) spirit.

Love your (pink) spirit.

If you’ve ever raised money or donated to a charity that means something to you, you would know the feeling of pride and gratification that you’ve done good in the community. Well, Wolf Bear Collective had that feeling today after donating our pledge of 100% of profits made from our exclusive ‘PS’ (pink spirit) Collection!

Being a brand with a strong community following we were compelled to bring awareness to a different kind of global issue in the hope that we could make a difference by supporting the cause of helping the NBCF find a cure for breast cancer. Since 1994, when the NBCF began funding research, survival rates have improved from 76% to a phenomenal 91%. However, the job is far from over, with their uncompromising mission being to end breast cancer related deaths by 2030. Pretty incredible right!?

Over the month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we put together a small unisex collection of two tshirts and a sweater. All embodying the shade of pink, we were blown away by the response from you… you know who you are. Women buying for other women, women buying for themselves, dads buying for their daughters and Ada Nicodemou from Home & Away (pictured above); it was wonderful knowing everyone’s why and that you wanted to share it with us.

Along this journey I reached out to a friend who had been diagnosed with breast cancer and thankfully has recovered well and wanted to help in any way she could with our quest. It was amazing to reconnect and hear her story, raw, inspiring and unedited. It just made me realise that this can happen to anyone and if bringing awareness, encouraging self checking and funding research is the best way to end this disease, then let’s do it! You can read Marni’s full story here.

Lastly, I just want to say a huge thank you to our Wolf Bear Collective pack, it is you that truly makes the difference and we are always humbled and inspired by the level of support you always show us.
